Electrician here Pendants on a sloped ceiling ain’t fun at all. Easy tip You can actually take the light apart to make the wire shorter and then put it back together. The chain is easy to remove a link from. Someone put that light together, which means you can take it apart. Although some are cheap and can’t really be taken apart without busting a weld or 2.

I've watched a couple of episodes on Build channel and I'm still confused......it's basically plywood, what keeps it from wicking and being saturated with water? And we know what happens to plywood when the edges get saturated.

I like going hybrid with the insulation; spray foam and Rock Wool has been what I would hope to use. Preventing condensation with exterior insulation is so key to me in preparing to launch my project. I have also been concerned about thicker sheathing, the Zip-R requiring stronger fasteners due to the added length of cantilever, which I would like to know the solution to. This is great to see you inquiring about the next best steps. Keep it up.
